Insurance Coverage |
Many insurance companies do cover acupuncture.
Go to your insurance company web site or call the number listed
on your card. You will want to get specific answers to the
following questions:
1. Is acupuncture a covered benefit on my current
insurance plan?
2. What is my total benefit (i.e. how many treatments per year,
or dollar amount)?
3. What is my deductible?
4. Have I met any of that deductible this year?
Or just bring in your insurance card to your first visit. With
the information on your card, your birth date and social
security number we can call the insurance company and get that
information for you.
Whether covered or not, sometimes it's best not to wait. The
longer your symptoms are present the more difficult it can be to
resolve them. When it comes to your health, you can't be too
careful. |
